Whatever.
I’m not even exaggerating when I tell you that this book is a total 10/10. Whatever (Or how junior year became totally F$@KED) by S. J. Goslee made me laugh out loud (on a very crowded airplane!) and squirm with a little bit of second hand embarrassment in the best way possible. It’s a must have for anyone who loves a good YA story about a teenager just figuring their life-shit out and making wildly humorous mistakes along the way. This book reminded me of why I love to write and reignited the fire that I have for my own characters and books to come. Read. This. Book.
The Magpie lord.
KJ Charles has a series called A Charm of Magpies and you would really be wise to hop on over to amazon and drop it right into your cart for purchase. It’s a wild story about a Lord who is in some intense types of danger and a sassy little magician (ie: witch!) whose job it is to save him - but who also has every reason to hate him. This book has everything I love in one wonderfully written package: sassy little witches, an incredible amount of magic (duh) and so much pining that your heart will feel mushy in no time.
